Paradise

Well so far I have gone running everyday, which is good for me, and its been like a week haha, I have gone to the sweetest beach of all time, I have gone out with friends to a tavern, hung out with my flatmates, and said, no worries, thats a bit dodgie, yeaah, and mate about 100,000,000 times. I love every second of it though. I really do love hearing from my friends from Western and home though. It has really made my day when I wake up in the morning, (America's afternoon) and get a bunch of e-mails!!! I keep thinking "oh night time is a good time to call people" but then I check the time difference and at 6 pm its about 3 am the day before so thats not such a good idea. Man my room is soooo small!!! I really like it though, it is just right for me! I don't like how I am on the bottom floor and if someone looked in my window they could see my whole room. That kind of creeps me out. Oh well my flatmates are awesome and so are the people in the other units around here. The ducks here walk right up to you because they expect you to feed them. OH and there are black swans instead of white, they think whites ones are freeky, when I said the same about black. I had this great conversation with an english bloke and he was dissing on Pancakes and making fun of my "accent". Then I beat him at ping pong so he shut up. haha. Well thats all for now, until next time, good day.

a land down under

Today was a fun filled day. I went running this morning with one of my flatmates Maggie, she is a sweetheart! I had fun running with her. I then headed out to the store to pick up a few items I didn't think to get when I was there last. Walking back I thought I would die of heat stroke! I was wearing blue jeans but it was soooo hot! I was carring a bunch of groceries and trying to drink my Bundaburg Gingerbeer, (that was for you mum). The accent here still gets me, I love it. I then decided to take the advice of another flatmate Vina, and head to the beach. Millaloo beach, which I have to say was worth the hassle of the bus. I decided I could die right when I saw the beach! It was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen! It absolutely took my breath away! I walked in the water, it was colder than I thought it would be, and then sat down and read my book for awhile. Don't worry I put on sunscreen. I have been really good about that. I almost finished my book at the beach but finished it later tonight, its called, "The boy next door" I am now letting one of the Chineese boys here borrow it, he said he will read it with a dictionary. They think some of the words are sooooo funny, and they pronounce them weird, like scrumptious, or scrumshulessent (thats a made up word), they ask me how to spell everything, I guess its good because I stink at spelling. haha and I taught them - totally wicked awesome- they love that! Anyway its been fun, we teach each other card games and try each others food! Its been quite the experience. I am excited for school to start I only have class Mon-Wed, 3 hours monday, 7 hours tues and 3 hours wed. Good times, starting monday at 1 and tues and Wed at 9. Well I guess I should head to bed. This is the first night I haven't been dead tired by 10:30. they have cool cocoa called Milo over here its like a health chocolate drink. I love it! I had a custard apple tonight as well, ohhh so good. Its not as good as I remember but it is still delish. well catch ya lata
